This is all about the 9th aniv box btw.


Last week I tired to dl various clients for UO and none of them worked..
On UO.COM I did not see where to buy a box version of UO, just a time code.
As the downloads were not working i did not think this a good approach to take.
I live in Houston, TX so if someone wants to verify this this they can. I actually stay in Alief. Saturday morning came around and I had gotten just a taste of KR the night before before the client had an error and would not work anymore...then the dl wouldnt install so i called it a night.

I started looking for the box around Houston..best buy, frys, eb games, game stop..etc..
The only one was at gamestop in Memorial City Mall.
It said new all over it and was shrunk wrapped. I bought it quickly thinking 'score!' in my head

Get home install, had some problems..got it working started playing...

Had some friends wanting to go to painted caves..I cant go in cause iam not upgraded..i think cool ill use the upgrade code..I go to use it and nope doesnt work.
I call, they arnt open til monday..I wait till today, wait til they open and I call.
First I go thru tech support, waste 45 minutes just to get told to call back. Ok my fault, I call back...wait another 45 minutes..
She runs my upgrade code to tell me that someone else used it whos account has been terminated...
They said since i did not buy the game from them theres nothing they can do. ( a lot more was said then that but thats the gist after a lot of raising voices and a dash of cussing) I think this person has no clue what they are talking about...an upgrade code isnt like 100$ or anything
I call back. I get told the same thing. Again and again...lol
Iam relentless. I go up and down the story of how the guy prolly bought the box used the code and returned the game and that was sorda wrong and they should help me out.
I played from 95-2001 with 2 accounts mind you...
And i quote the guy who said this on the phone 'david'
'to be frank we cannot give you another upgrade code'

He said someone would call me about it, and i think ya right like someone would call me back about getting my old account back(last week) or my tech support problems (last week)

Does anyone know anyone with EA games?
Does anyone have a good idea?

Does everyone think I should just cough up the money for the ML code and quit my whining?

Me personally, I'd use the money towards WoW or Hell Gate London.

But if you want to play UO that bad, I'd say buy the ML code.

Or you could take your money... head to the toilet...and flush it down....

oh and hellgate london isnt an option....its a staple of modern day living....

quick solution and coming back might not be a mistake .. go buy another copy and as soon as you receive it send your old one back saying it dosent work. crisses adverted see you online
