Before I found balance with the game, it almost cost me my marriage at one point ( part of quit reason for time #2)

I am very proud you can admit that, most people are in denial. I have a very close friend who is throwing her life away with uo. She doesn't work and sits home 24-7 playing uo, from 8 AM to after midnight she won't get off it. She ignores her children it's so sad. She thinks this is normal behaviour. She doesn't cook, clean etc. Just camps on UO non-stop. Her marriage is very bad and she cant' understand why?? She is so defensive when anyone comments to her about her being on it. I'm glad you quit uo and saved your marriage. I respect that totally, wtg

It was becoming as issue in my relationship as well...that is why I only play Friday nights now. Used to be every free minute.

It is hard to find balance. Glad you did it LOS!!! I got so focused on my next goal (and boy did I have a ton of em), that I would play until I accomplished one.

My boyfriend picks on me all the time about playing UO and WoW. Calling me geek and that I'm one of "them" now... Dont get me started on what he said about me being on TeamSpeak!
My friends and I at work refer to UO and WoW as crack for geeks, which all in all is true... But it beats being addicted to other things, so I dont care.

There I said it... I'M A GEEK!

haha what is wrong with being a geek? I am one too! Though right now my old habits are back... back to console system and playing Sonic like crazy! bwhaha!

So yes, I do believe I fall under the "geek" catigorey too and darn proud of it! ^_^

Rmemeber when someone calls you a "geek" it is a good thing!

My kids refer to themselves as "geekoids". They call me the King of geeks. They call Weird Al the Emperor of Geekdom.

We all laugh about it. They are well adjusted little geekoids.
