Does the person behind Uo Assist normally take this many days to update Uo Assist to work with the new data stream? Or is this just a one off?

I am not sure what it is you are waiting to be updated,but here are this years messages posted back in January.It is my guess the person is waiting for a beta test slot,before any updates are made.

Would seem a pointless exercise to do so beforehand .

* Recently a number of emails have been received wondering about UO:KR and UOAssist. The plan is for UOAssist to support UO:KR. Shortly after the announcement of UO:KR EA was been contacted and they have said access to the UO:KR beta would be granted when the beta milestone is reached. Right now that is about all there is to say. Until UO:KR can be tested on details are unknown. They did not have a timeframe available at the time and even if they did it probably would not be allowed to share it.

What I meant is I can’t log in to UO with UO Assist since the last patch. If I try log in to Uo with Uo assist I get an error box pop up titled Data stream error which reads “It appears the data stream has changed. This may require an update to Uoassist.dll for Uoassist to function properly.” I’ve tried the Uoassist.dll for download on the Tugsoft site with no luck. I also found this thread over at stratics tech forum which lead me to believe this is an issue for tugsoft to address.

I seem to have sorted it. For some strange reason hitting escape after the error stream box popped up UoA proceeded to login in to UO and work. :grin:
