Catch me on a PMS day and I quite possibly be saying "YES! Men ARE pigs! Women ARE cows! I hate EVERYONE!!!"

The rest of the time, however, I don't like nicknames like that. Even when the nickname in question is done by the same sex who is getting put down. I can understand you did it from a viewpoint of humor. Still, I don't think people need to be put down like that.

Then again, I wouldn't page over it. I'd just leave the area if I was truely that offended. I might, just maybe, say it was an offensive name before I left. I doubt I'd even do that tho.

Yea, I'm sorry if it was confused that I was using that word as a curse word. It was meant to be used to describe a female dog, and only that. I should have just typed what I did afterwards which was just change "pigs" to "dogs," but at the time I felt that the other word would get my point across better, which was incorrect on my part.

Anyway, I hope this doesn't diminish my rep here, cause I enjoy all of your input here and wish to continue to exchange ideas in the mature and meaningful way that we have been doing. Thanks!

Its been a over a month and nothing happened but guess what? I got a notice today December 11th that the name "Menarepigs" was deemed unacceptable. I am going to appeal(and lose I'm sure) I just got notice tonight.

I'll change the name to "womenareproperty" and that should be fine.

You're going to have to change that name too. If you're really set on making a vaguely offensive name, just stick with inuendo.

It was a joke about "womenareproperty". Well when I got on they gave me the name "Hugh" instead of letting me pick a name of my own. Wrong of them but they need the xtra money and make me buy the name change token. I would assume that "Porkbelly" would not be offensive.

And yes compared to the stratics board, this is much smarter.

I still find the names they find to be "unacceptable" to be pretty funny. Apparently I can't name one of my pets Tasslehoff (of Dragonlance fame) because it contains the word '@ss'.

A friend and I were playing around with our pets one night, and were trying out names, and discovered that while you can name a pet Vagina, you can't name one Penis. Highly unfair. *giggles*

I think it would be nice if uo added an offensive name filter. That would clear up any issues.
