Unable to log on to KR, 2D no prob?

For some reason, I get the "Unable to communicate with Ultima Online" error when I try to log in with KR, but I'm having no problem with 2D.

Anyone have any suggestions? My tried and true "reboot" failed me.

Having the exact same problem here. Downloaded the uokr file, installed, patched fine but cannot login. Have rebooted, rebooted modem etc and no luck yet 2d version works fine. Havent played since 2002, kind of curious about the new inteface. Any help would be appreciated!

Turns out it's a problem with KR itself at the moment. Several of my fellow KR-enthusiasts have reported the same issue.

I get the same error using KR

. Tryed restarting several times. Still get the same error.

They really need to give us an idea with what the heck is going on with KR. Last night I decided to go check out the museum and found out that in KR you can't turn anything in to the museum if you're playing KR. This is rediculous and getting very old, very fast.

I know the devs read these forums, and I really would like some info on why KR is getting shafted so much. From the event, to the museum box not being visible, to now not being able to log in using the KR client?! Seriously.

KR users don't need answers, we deserve some answers.

I had the same problem last October after the big patch. Had 2 UO service threads in a row. went on for weeks and weeks.

Then EA did a very strange thing. They mail a CD to me but not an installation CD. They said it was a copy of the CD they use at work. The instructions were "simply copy the CD into the Ultima Online Kingdom Reborn folder". That didn't work either and they didn't say so but they gave up.

After a couple of additional publishes, I was finally able to log into KR.

I hate the 2D look and only use it to place items on my vendor

unless it is fixed soon, i don't think i'll be playing tonight

Incidentally, you *can* turn in collection items at the museum, but you have to use allnames to bring up the donation box tab.

I did some just recently, for the cloak of humility quest.
