Ultima Onlines Future?

Hello All,
I am fairly new here, Well i havent posted much. However I am worried about the future of Ultima Online!
I've Started many new characters and I find it hard to adapt to the Uo lifestyle. What I mean by this is that new characters are overwhelmed by the ammount of artifacts and other rare items. They don't have much time to gain skills without the need advanced items, especially players who still pay the fee of playing each month but they have children and a job and don't play Ultima online for hours on end...finding it boring because they do not have the same or almost the same items as other players. Most people I play with don't buy the advance character tokens because they cannot afford them $$$$ whise.
Also players who just bought this game don't have time to adapt to it because Ultima Online is always coming out with new upgrades! Players quit for this reason and I think it's a dumb reason to quit but this should not be happening!
Uo is not getting very many new players!

There is so much to do, and so many items out...that I just find something comfortable for me and stick with it. If I enjoy killing Orc Brutes every day, for 30 minutes a pop...then that is what I do.

oh no if UO goes i may have to venture out into natuaral light again and converse with people face to face.
