Is UO still crowded?

Hi everyone! How's UO? I haven't played for so long! Has UO changed a lot? I remember the Britain Bank was always crowded and that finding a spot to place a house was close to impossible. Last time I played was when EA did a special promotion thingy where all old accounts were activated for a few days/weeks. There was nobody at Britain bank! A player told me that most people were at another city that was only accessible if you had the expansion pack. So, my question is: Are there still many players in UO? If you have a pic of "rush hour" at a city's bank, please, do show!

Depending on the shard, there is still quite a bit of activity. Your friend was correct, most people tend to hang out at Luna now.

Again, depending on shard, house placement ranges from the ridiculous to the easy. On lake austin, for example, I can go out any time I want and find a house spot, 18*18 on down.

Europa is still pretty busy. You can place a house there, just have to look a bit.

trying to find a house on alantic is ridiculous i think people own so many multiple acounts definitly more houses then people but alot of people

Even on Atlantic there are spots avaiable. Not large ones by any means, but many small tower spots. I recently made a character there and ran around mapping the place. Even though it`s very crowded in places you will not find houses placed on Europa, there were a few open spots here and there.

As always your playtime compared to the shards busiest time is vital. Make sure you visit your shards forums to drum up some contacts!

Man... I took a stroll in Felluca @ Europe yesterday.

I didnt see ONE living soul.
Not even at Brit Bank.
I feel a little sad.
