I wouldnt recommend duel booting as any gains you get are not worth the trouble involved.

For example..If you have a Vista machine and want to duel boot with XP and you have a SATA drive and an IDE drive, the Vista bootloader will default to disk0 and that will be your IDE drive. So if you have XP on the IDE drive it will never boot (unless you keep the Vista disk in the cd drive as there is a bootloader on the disk).

Thats just one example. Even if you want to partition a single drive..it is not straight foward as it first seems.

Indeed, I wouldn't do a dual-boot. Really should be no need. Looking forward to see what else is added.

Yea, it's odd advice to give
Especially modifying the boot.ini file, a simple mistake in that file can render the pc unbootable, assuming the person who does it, is new at such things

Hell, my own UO Tech info is better then dual booting. (Where is that page Adam?)

It's like !!!!fire man, if people ask, I'll give the advise.

I can just about make any machine "close" to the min specs, do it and then some!
