Bring your memory up to max, then you should be able to adjust the amount of memory that your graphics is using. Give me the model of your toshiba satellite and I'll see if I can get the info for ya.

OK, everything I seem to be reading says most of the M45 series can take up to 2 gigs of memory, also looks like the Intel Graphics can use upto 128 megs of that for video, depending on programs and how much memory you actually have. Most also have 2 mem slots. So we'd need to see if they put in (1) 512meg or (2) 256meg, again depending on the final model. Some of them can run on 1 mem slot, others you need a pair.
I'd say that your system should have a good shot at running KR with mem over 1 gig, which will allow your graphics to use a full 128 megs. I guess then it we would need to compare what the Intel chip set (depending on model) does as compared to a GForce 3 level card. Now your stretching the limits of my knowledge. Once I get the vfinal info, I'll see if I can find a comparison.

OK, same deal as I wrote above but more details.
You can max out with 2 gigs of mem, memory has to be added in pairs as follows

PC4200 DDR2 533mhz sdram either (2) 512meg to have 1 gig of mem or (2) 1024meg to give you 2 gigs of memory. The max video memory that will be used is 128megs, which should be fine.

Installing is as simple as turning over your laptop, carefully removing the old memory and installing the new.

Unless you decide to go for the full 2 gigs of mem no matter what I'd wait for the client to hit and we get more detailed info. So far it's all speculation on my part.
