As for mine, I Don't know, but it's eerie when you see how quiet Tradespot is now a days and how quiet Brit bank is, or rather, how deserted it is.
I remember the days when Tradespot had upto 120? users online at a time, now it's down to about 50 max

There's a reason for both brit bank being empty and no one posting at tradespot.

I feel UO is in its last days. Not literally, but its on the down slope. I still enjoy the game, but I believe a majority of the playerbase is unhappy with it and where its going. I will try to keep my accts open til they close the doors on us or send the messege on the bottom of the screen "Please feel free to cause chaos, you have 10 minutes to do whatever you want because what does it really matter, were closing!" hehe

This week the Stratics Europa board has no less than 4 threads with various versions of 'returning after a long absence' and 2 of 'new to uo, looking for a guild'

I've never used Tradespot so have no input there.... but as far as Brit bank... I think they all moved to Luna bank, which doesnt have the room for the crowd... thanks to the Brit Invasion some time back..

To bad the undead invasion in Luna didnt send the crowd to some other bank that has more room for the crowd.

Anyway, I don't think its dying either... Haven seem to be picking up in 'young' players lately on Chesapeake.

I say Nay...I feel as Flutter does in that there are reasons for Brit Bank and Tradespot. TS fried itself in a few ways...way back when the old owners betrayed the users by lying...and now with Lynn's rules and the way it's run.

Brit bank for what Lady Lynn said in this thread...they are simply all in Luna.

I see a lot of old vets coming back...I even joined Sosarian Volunteers because I've been seeing an increase of new and returning players on my shard. The game as a whole has slowed down i believe...but I don't think it's on it's last legs.

If I had it my way, I would let everywhere have no rules, there would be AFK slaying in luna bank, killing vendors and taking their stuff and throwing it on the ground. Last minute ebayers selling accts for $.01 hehe...

Along with the music.. I bet we could pay REM in gold for the rights to their music, I dont think theyre doing anything nowadays...

ust grabed this from Markee Dragon a minute ago and they really only deal heavily with Cats.

Id say that the "leaving" threads and the "return" or "new" threads really seem to even out over a given amount of time. Im doubting that UO is going aywhere real soon, but I think that its has ben losing retention value to new players because of a fairly steep learning curve and failry limited single player content for those who are on at erratic times...
