Uh, I thought that 255 was the highest...

Durability? I thought that 255 was the highest you could go which was why alot of arties had that...

If it is enhanced with dull copper (think shadow iron does too) and it survives you can get higher durability.

I think it's if it is created with Shadow or Dull Copper, not so sure on the enhancement part.

On my first blacksmith I created a Shadow Kitana with 500+ Durability, I think it was like 506 but I don't remember.

That is kind of neat... I didn't even know that! I never seen it no higher than 255 myself

Sorry Ezekial I was not more specific. Durability is affected by dull copper and shadow iron. That is why I made my post. Trying to explain why it was over 255
