How do I transfer macros from one comp to another? I'm too lazy to do it manually for all our chars

For UO:
1. You go to the UO directory, usually in a folder like Program Files/EA Games/Ultima Online Samurai Empire (that's mine)
2. Then you go to the Desktop folder, open the account folder, then the Shard folder (one for each shard you use) open the particular character folder and highlight all the files.
3. Have the folder open for the character you want to copy it into.
4. Ctrl-drag the files to the new folder. (ctrl-drag copies, not moves)

Next time you sign in on the one you copied it to all the macros and icons should be there. Sometimes the spell icons aren't in place but I've never had the macro's fail to move.

For UOAssist:
Same as above but in the UOAssist folder. BUT you have to tweak the macros that target yourself. (just change target to new character or it will look for the guy in the original macro)

I have done this a lot with no problems and I usually try to copy all the desktop files to a backup folder every month or two. (I use a different computer on the network to store them)
