And do the chests relock themselves on some kind of timer? Or new locked chests spawned in the place?

Re: Training Lockpicking past 95

yes you can recall into lower levels of dungeons in trammel. you just can not recall into dungeons in felucca anymore.

you need to find a rune to the yew crypts, there are a few builds west of yew that have 3 chests in each room, it just that you can not recall directly into these rooms. But there are tunnels connecting these rooms that you can recall into. Then you just run up to one room, pick do not bother looting (your choice) go to the opposite room pick there go pick elsewhere, these 6 chests will respawn in about 20 minutes, no monsters in these rooms but since you are negative karma there are a few rooms down there that do spawn pixies/fairies or whatever they are. which will attack you on sight, but they can be avoided.

Re: Training Lockpicking past 95

if you have a guild mate with discord you could always have them discord you.... thats what i did... being that i have a negative karma char myself.... found out the quick and hard way that its not safe in the TW for neg karma chars...

Once you get somewhere into the ninties ... this no longer works. And theres a certain threshold also somewhere in the nineties where you can't gain from these anymore at all regardless of the chest level.

I seem to remember that you can't recall to the insides of dungeons, or is that just to lower levels?
You can recall directly to enough dynamic chest locations to get the job done. Check your local rune library, most have lock picking books.

What is the satyr trick people are talking about?
I may have been living under a rock for a while as this is the first time I heard of it.
But... UO + Trick is a good combination any day so I am curious

satyrs will discord you if you attack them... it will drop all your skills down 30 points or so i believe... so basically... wait till your disco'd go out of the sparkly gate... go back in and he wont be aggrod on you anymore...as long as you stay close to him you will stay disco'd and can gain like you were at the lowered level... so you can take a gm tinkered box and some blank scrolls and gain the required points without haveing to dungeon crawl/open 1000 level 4 tmaps.

Re: Training Lockpicking past 95

Is the faction trick still working? I tried it, went down to 64 picking a bunch of gm and non gm boxes for the 20 mins but didn't even gain a .1

How are you discording a guildmate? We have tried this numerous times, both in Tram and Fel and it tells us that "that object cannot be discorded" (or something close). I thought they ended the ability to disco humans?
