Question Time requirement for tailoring/blacksmith from 100->120?

I started a tailor yesterday (well, in spirit anyways...started with 0 tailoring) and made it to 100.3 in a single day. I guess the skill gain system is much faster these days than the last time I made a tailor (back around T2A release). What sort of time requirement should I expect to get to 120 from around 100? Gains REALLY slowed down around 99.

How about for blacksmithy? Is 0-100 as quick as tailoring was? What is the approx. time to legendary smith?

Thanks!

Not sure how you GM'd tailoring in one day. Seems odd to me. Anyway, if you are expecting to 120 tailoring the old fashioned way (one click at a time) you are looking at several weeks, if not months, of dedicated tailoring.
I for one cannot stand how long it takes to get a gain, so I am stuck at 115.7. Been there for about 2 years. I hate mindless repetition.
Stock up on bones..........You'll need em.

Baldguy made a very good post on this in the tailoring skill section.

That's actually the guide that I followed. Worked very well!

It didn't seem all that difficult to GM Tailoring in one day...gains were pretty routine and quick up until the high 90s. I'm at 103 now after several more hours of off-and-on work.

Thanks for the props abilean!

EricVT,
Expect GM smith to take about half again as long. 120 Smith is not nearly as rough as it used to be , but still about 30 hours or so. Make sure you follow the smith guide I made, as it is the least ingot consumptive out there.

keep us posted on your progress!

Thanks for the wonderful guides Baldguy...they really work well.

I worked carpentry, arms lore and tinkering all at once in rotation and found that my gains were a little more encouraging than when working on one by itself (at least a little more frequent). Managed to get all three to 100 over the course of just two days.

Going to work on blacksmithy now using your guide.

Moving right along.
