Re: thought on balancing warrior/paladin

Are you asking how can you balance a warrior without chivalry to be as effective as a warrior with chivalry?

If so I'm not sure how. Chivalry is an additional skill, and therefore if you were going to balance a warrior without chivalry the only way to do it would be adding on another skill as effective.

Re: thought on balancing warrior/paladin

a warrior and paladin are 2 diff types of chars but way uo has it set up paladin is the only type warrior effective in pvm paladin is what i considerd in pre aos to be a tankmage used spells to heal cure bless and weaken there target much like the paladin warrior has brute str and dex uses aids to heal and pots

Re: thought on balancing warrior/paladin

I agree with you one hundred percent. I think that is why the majority of warriors have chivalry. Because it's the best skill.

Re: thought on balancing warrior/paladin

Don't agree at all.

You can make a Necro/Warrior as effective if not more than a Paladin.

Sure, a warrior with Chiv (ok, a Paladin) will ALWAYS be better than a regular Warrior with Alchemy, no brainer. Replace Alchemy with something else... maybe... Bushido (Samurais are warriors too) and it levels the battleground some.

You can't try to balance a Alchemist/Warrior to a Paladin because the two shouldn't be equal from the start.

no u cant heal with bushido and it would cause you to have to change your stats as well if bushido didnt use int it might be considerd a 2nd skill for a warrior

Heal as in cure poison, no, heal as in regain HP, yes, there are more ways than just Confidence to do this.

Re: thought on balancing warrior/paladin

I have an archer fencer warrior with no chiv and no necro and I heal and pvm just fine! I was this way before AoS and I dont find chivalry worth enough to train. I heal my guildmates in 2 seconds and myself in 4.
125 str
140 dex
20 int

120 fencing
100 archery
100 healing
100 anatomy
100 focus
100 tactics
100 resisting spells

Re: thought on balancing warrior/paladin

by the way to brag more. Not only can i cure a poisoned person with a bandage but it also gives them 30hp with a cure. see you match that.
(not telling how I do it)
