![]() | Thinking of Buying UO: Mondain's Legacy Hello all. I played UO for a brief period when Rennaisance came out. I am thinking of starting anew with the newest version and was wondering if the servers are populated enough to start new. I am one that enjoys playing at my own speed and earning things without out of game purchases, power levelling etc. Will there be enough for me to do? Or would I be all alone in newbie areas like I have seen in EQ a year or so ago? |

![]() | Re: Thinking of Buying UO: Mondain's Legacy In all honesty, unless you are a social person who plays games for the interaction, you'll be a little let down. There is definetly some grinding (leveling) that has to be put into the game before you can compete or even pretend to compete. The game has become item driven and makes it harder for new characters to break in. That being said, if you are into roleplaying or making friends, UO is great and community driven. |

There are now 5 land masses to explore, hundreds of quests, tons of dungeons that werent there when you last played, lots of new skills. You will enjoy it alot. The community is what keeps me coming back. I enjoy the interactivity of it all. Just the idea of real people on the other side of that character, oh, and then their expressions when they die to me...hahahahaha!!!!!! ![]() ![]() |
