I dont get it.

Stratics posters really need to get with it.

They complain that either loot sucks or the loot is too good...Is there every any chance of pleasing people in UO?

They nerfed the loot dropping in the craftsmans satchels...reallyis it so bad to give crafters a chance at good loot? Yes some of the stuff dropping was really good, but you gotta remember crafters are using resources to do these quests...so why is it so much to ask to give them a little piece of the treasure??

Um, well. I'm no crafter, not really.

But then again, I'm just the old fashioned adventure who just gets by.

Heh.. take 100,000 people and offer them either Peanut Butter and Jelly or Ham and Swiss sandwiches. They can have a combination of either, Ham and Jelly, Peanut butter and swiss, etc. but... once they decide, they all have to eat the same sandwich.

So.. without the analogy, you get the idea. ;)

I for one have never really cared too much about loot, just cause I don't really know how to tell if something's good or not. I use whatever's given me.

As for the people who complain, don't know why. I say let's all just enjoy the game.

Unless I'm dead broke... I've never looted monsters. Never had a good enough luck suit to make the loot worthwhile anyways. Always concentrated on resists and other mods vs. luck. Now players on the other hand.. definately do a quick check through they're packs and loot as a player typically won't wear something that isn't nice. *grin* Unless its a friend or aquaintence.. then I don't even touch their bones.

Heh.. people complain because things keep changing, and most people don't like change. They get comfortable in their routine and when that routine is interrupted, they complain rather than adapt.

I actually hate the way UO is right now.. you have to be a freaking mathmatician to put a good suit or weapon combo together since AoS. But, its not going to change, so there's no reason to complain.

Meh.. anyone who reads UHall just has to accept that its going to be 90% bitching, and 10% constructive conversations.

I am guessing they just nerfed the bottle quest no? People endlessly sneered about that bottle quest on stratics... I did it one day and did not get anything special... grr

I haven't done it in a while, but I loved the bottle quest. I would grab a packie..go to a Fel faction town and buy a bunch of cheap bottles then go hand them in.

I got all my alchemist potions within a half hour that way.

UO Stratics has been that way since UO started. As for UO UHall. As far as I'm concerned it serves no purpose other than ranting. Unless there is some kind of release I need info on, I don't travel there anymore. Actually dropped my Plus status after 2 years.

yah.. was thinking of doing the same thing as you Se'an.. really only been using it for multiple sigs and a custom title.. not worth $3/month in my opinion.

UHall.. Generally just entertainment.. I suspect that most players have more time logged into that forum than they do in game. *snickerz*
