The Vanguard Attacks! (Some Spoilers)

PvP in UO is pretty sad.

"Faction" PvPers that claim they are tough are sad. Why? Because they use factions as an excuse to kill other players without having to take murder counts like real men. Although, compared to the original days of Dread Lords, the "Dread" Pixies running around now have it easy. In other words, I feel Factions are just an excuse for "trammies" to pvp.

Also its my belief that the only reason Reds rule fel now is because Trammel exists. If Trammel didn't exist, Reds would be far out numbered.

Anyone else remember only being able to get ressed by friends and the chaos shrine as a red?? Ahhh those were the days where you could truely respect reds.

Anyway, I am looking forward to checking out the invasion! Also, looking forward to checking out the new drops! As a collector, I am pretty excited!

Does anyone know if power weapons are dropping again? I know they said rations and snake skins were.

Vanguard Foes:

Liches (undead slayer weapon, mage slayer talisman)
Dark Wisps (fey slayer weapon, no talisman)
Shadow Iron Elementals (elemental slayer weapon, no talisman)
Dark Wolves, not extinct anymore! (wolf slayer weapon, no talisman)
Daemons (demon slayer weapon, no talisman)
Lich Lords (undead slayer weapon, mage slayer talisman)
Dark Guardians (undead slayer, no talisman)
Zombies (say booo)
Brigands (repond slayer weapon, no talisman)
Restless Souls (dead in a flash...)
Nightmares (no slayer weapon, no talisman)

Any extra info about specific slayer talismans?

What about the Vanguard Controllers? I used a power crossbow agaisnt one and it made a huge difference.

one thing is bugging me...

from uoguide...

"The Damage Increase from both talisman-based and instrument/spellbook/weapon-based Slayers is cumulative, or stacks, subject to the 300% cap."

Is this right?

Hi, I'm Cassie from Library of Exploration in Cove on Lake Superior Shard. Just wanted to let everyone know that I have put vendors across the front of the library to create a safe house for anyone fighting in the area. All are welcome as my library has always been opened to the public. Enjoy the fighting and if there is anything I can do for anyone just let me know. If people would like to set up vendors there just send me an icq also. My icq number is posted on the bulletin board inside the libary
