As stated elsewhere this is just the vanguard of the attack so I wouldn't expect wave after wave of enemies to start spawning just yet..think of these weekend attacks as scouting parties, which would account for their small, sporadic appearances. Then as the week goes on and (presumably) the main attack force draws closer the attacks will ramp up in frequency as more enemies can reach the 'frontline'. This is how I'm expecting them to run this epic Shadowlord attack anyhow, maybe the focus group will convince them that we players want EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW..meh

Good perspective Risso .. reminds me of the Moonglow invasion a few years back when the 'scouts' were around a few days before everything hit .. for 4 days straight that was a blast!

So is the event picking up now? I'd like to get a horse, just as a collector's item. Maybe a sword and shield also for my collection I am starting. Missed the first invasion. I TOTALLY went brain dead when it happened and wasn't reading any news about UO. Bummed me out when I saw people at Luna stables with the dread steeds. My first thought was nightmare, renamed... till I lored it.

Hope that the Vanguards keep spawning a little more frequently as the real battle starts. Scouts are scouts, but as the time for the invasion starts, they'll need to scout more frequently.

on atlantic we had and have a lot of spawns,
both facets, trammel and fellucca.

when the one on trammel go off
go quickly to fell and you'll find another spawn

I can't wait to get home then! I hope some are still up on Baja if they've been spawning! One good thing about being in Japan is most people are sleeping when you get on! Can be good and bad though, depending on your play style.

Edit: So I was sitting here thinking about my template and I couldn't help but wonder.

Are the Vanguards humanoid or undead?

Humoind. You cannot use Animal Lore on them, like you can do on undead.

When I see one again I may doublecheck this with an undead slayer spellbook tho.
