I spent all night doing Tinker quests and managed to get 2 Scrappers, 1 Pendant, and 1 bracer, so I am very very pleased with that!


And I also got a talisman of bird slaying, but it is a charge talisman, its
lich killer 19%

Bird Slayer


And my question is do I have to "activate" the talisman to get the bird slayer bonus? And how long does it last? And if not, why is there a charge on this one?

I also found a bird killer 80% with has NO charge field, but of course thats only 80%, so any advice???

Hello

Slayer and protection properties are automatic when you where them. They don't use the charges.

There's probably some other power the talisman has that has the charges. Does it have damage removal or bandage summoning or some kind of summoning? If so, that's where the charges come in.

But if it says Bird Slayer, that means just wearing it will act as if you're wearing a slayer weapon against any bird style monster.

Usually if a tali doesnt state what the removal is, it is ward removal, which is any buff spells you may have casted on yourself, or been casted on. For instance, if you are fighting something with protection on, you cast it, they lose protection, or if you are cursed and cant remove it due to no chiv, you can click it on yourself to remove curse.

is there a talisman of buff display for those of us heathens that use 3d?

hrmm....I didnt know the buff bar didnt show up in 3D. That sucks.

Its A Talsiman of damage removal. I am now off to check its effectiveness against swoops.



And Collyn, I didnt even know there was a buff display. I am suprised you get something in 2d but not 3d. Thats what I get for going three dimensional.
