Stratics/EA UO:ML Forum Naming Contest


With the release of 'Mondain's Legacy,' it is obvious some new forums are needed. We have set up two new forums so far, but have four more to name and get descriptions written for. We thought we would leave that up to all of you! The forums we need names and descriptions for are:

• A forum for the Elven UO'ers out there!
• A forum for Orc RP'ers - you know who you are!
• A forum for the Humans who inhabit Sosaria.
• And finally, we have decided to re-name the Town Hall to more reflect the opportunities this expansion has created for players to mingle.

Entry Details

• Entry is open to all registered Stratics users.*
• Stratics staff members are allowed to enter this contest!
• You may submit an entry for one or more forums, but are limited to one entry per forum.
• Entries must contain a forum name and a short description for the forum. Also, please make sure it is clear which forum you are submitting an entry for!
• To enter, send your ideas to us at UO Contests. Please make sure you are emailing us from the email address you registered your username with. Entries we cannot match to usernames will be disqualified.
• Entries must be received by 11:59 PM PST Saturday, September 24th, 2005.

Winner Selection and Prizes

• Submissions will be validated upon receipt. Once verified, a confirmation email will be sent to you letting you know we received your entry.
• After the entry deadline, submissions will be listed in polls on each forum.
• Three (3) winners from each forum will be selected by votes received in the polls. In the event of a tie, we will post a tie-breaker poll.
• The polls will remain open until 11:59 PM PST Friday, September 30, 2005.
• Winners will be notified by email and a winners list posted to the individual forums and on UHall Saturday, October 1, 2005.
• Prize distribution is as follows:

• Each 1st place winner will not only have their submission used as the new official Title & Description, but will also receive one UO:Mondain's Legacy upgrade code (Chargerized!)
• Each 2nd place winner will receive one 30-day GameTime code.
• 3rd place winners will receive a Mondain's Legacy poster.

* Banned UID's and/or aliases will be disqualified.
