Staff of the magi - Special Moves

Hi,
my questions is if i had staff of the magi, and magery like 120, can i use weapon Special Moves, such as Paralyzing Blow and Whirlwind Attack with zero mace fighting?

No. You have to have the weapon skill to use the special moves .

I think its not sound reasoning, because i have weapon skill(magery), and from it - hit/def chance.

Magery is not considered a weapon skill. Some weapons have a mage weapon property. Most with a (-) magery skill penalty. Staff of the Magi just happens to have -0 . But all that doesn't help with the specials .

To use the staff of the magi, I recommend getting Nujitsu or Bushido, depending on what yuor template is. Then you can use those specials. But the whirlwind and crushing blow, or whatever it is can't be used.
