Spellweaving

Is Spellweaving very important to take with magery and/or necromancy?

No, it's not important at all. It is a stand alone skill that is neither required for magery/necromancy nor dependant on either of those skills. It IS a very useful skill, and gives a nice collection of additional spells to use against your enemies, and as a bonus on yourself. I find it to be a very nice complement to mages and necro mages skill sets, but not "necessary".

Ok, I'm trying the initial quest with the mini mushrooms, the quest isn't counting the shrooms I've picked up. I look at the quest log and it still shows 0 instead of the 20 I have in my pack...grrrr...la

Sorry, I'm a newb quester. How does someone "mark" them as quest items?

*imagines having to place them on the ground and tinkling on said item*

no, please don't tinkle on the 'shrooms! hehe... left click on your on-screen character, then select "mark item as quest item" or some such from the drop-down menu.

Tinkling on the fungus is not necessary, as far as I recall...

Right click your toon, and choose 'Toggle quest item' and target the mushrooms (they should turn orange) and then visit the quest guy again.

I agree with jfk, I have spellweaving on my mage but I also have it on my archer. I have completed the spellwevinb for every all char and i might try on my tamer. Spellweaving is a awesome skills to have.

The "Gift of Renewal" spell would be very helpful, I would think, since it grants hp healing every couple of seconds while in effect. Good luck!
