Hi, can anyone use a soulstone? I actually have a few pieces of a soulstone someone has thrown away but when i try and use them its tells me no charges are left on them. So, if anyone can use them is there anyway to recharge a soulstone?

Also...

Can you solo a lvl 6 t-map? i think it spawns ancient wyrms and Balrons and blood ele's (none of which Ive ever seen).

Also.... does anyone know when server up is Europa?

I can help with the soulstone question.
Soulstones and soulstone frags are linked to your account.
You get them as a token.. and when you use the token to create the stone, it is then bound to the characters on that account.
Also, you have to be in a safe log place (ie your house) to use it.

Oh and balrons, blood eles etc are no prob..
IF your treasure hunter is also a tamer lol

Level 6 maps can be soloed...just not always without a death or two

Server up is usually around 5 AM local server time

can all solo lvl 6 maps failry easily. Perhaps the quickest to make is peace mage. But also the slowest killer.

Well paragon is not exactly correct with his answer about soulstones and soulstone fragments.

Soulstones and soulstone fragments are bound to your account, only you and all you character(s) on that account can use them.

Soulstone fragments come in token form initially then if you use the token, it changes into the shape of a fragment like the ones you have. You can get tokens 2 ways:

one if you buy them from other players or their vendors price of the token varies from shard to shard.

Or if EAMythic gives them away again as gifts as long as your account is active, if/when they give them out, you will get some.

Soulstone fragments can not be recharged. the only use for the ones you have is for decoration of your house if you have one and if you think it looks cool.

As for Soulstones, they were a pre-order promotion item for 2 of UO expansions (which 2 escapes me at this time) They came in token form and when used would give you a green or blue soulstone depending on which expansion you purchased. Once used by an account and turned into a soulstone, it becomes bound to that account and no one else can use it. Though soulstones never run out of charges and can be used over and over.
The last token that I saw for sale on Lake Superior, I believe was running at 15 million.

Now recentally Red Soulstones were added as a 1st year veteran reward. There is a list of all vet rewards around here I think, IF NOT BALDGUY GET ON IT . Meaning that if you pay for an entire year, when it comes time you will get a pop-up gump on your screen stating thank you for being a uo player, you have X many rewards to choose from and you have already choosen Z rewards.

Now if you choose a Red Soulstone, it will ask you if you are sure and that you need to be in a safe location either an inn or your home if you have one. If you are in a safe location, a Red Soulstone will be created (I think it goes into your bank box) either way (be it bankbox or on your person) IT WILL BE A RED SOULSTONE, THIS REWARD DOES NOT COME IN TOKEN FORM. So it has no value to anyone but you and your account.

Now you ask why do I see them in peoples homes then? Well some people have many and like to show them off and all the skills they have gm'd or higher.

Some people get them from abandoned homes that collapse because a player has quit or been banned, and use them as house decorations or sell them to other players that use them as decorations.
