My archer started out as an elf, and unless I'm missing something, it seems to me that the only toon I should keep human is my crafter, because she has Mad Strength to carry ore and wood and whatnot. Other than that... elves seem to kick much bootay.

Plus, in real life, I got rid of my red hair in January after 5 years or so and went with purpleish black... so that's what my toon looks like in UO now

I went elf before being originally human... but I missed me being human too much so I flipped back even though my charater technically would be better being an elf but being human... but haha so I went back and did all the quest for being a human and I am "me" again.

All the charaters I make... somewhat or somehow reflect "me" in real life and sense I do not see myself being an elf in real life... human would be more me... I have tried playing things that wouldn't fit me at all and I just get bored of it oddly... shouldn't matter really but it does for me

But glad you turned! Is it seeming to be better than being human?

Hehehe really it's just that I'm a mana junkie, since all I do when I'm not casting is scribe and mark runebooks

I was reading that elves can get different kinds of resources from mining and lumberjacking.. maybe my crafter SHOULD become an elf? What's the max strength an elf can have?

I am not sure about the max strength, but you will find that your average human mule (Elven crafters are NOT mules

) is indeed able to carry much more. And while even humans may find rare gems among the stones and trees, you will find that elves find them considerably more often.
