They are just jealous!

I have a tamer... I'm absolutely horrible at it.. you have to control the pet while watching your own back at the same time. I can multi-task with the best of them, but that's just crazy. My tamer basically just has 110 taming so she can ride cool mounts. *snickerz*

As for the Mods.. hell there are a few bad apples spread throughout the staff over there.. isn't just limited to Mods.. but thank goodness the really cool ones far outnumber the pond scum.

I wish that were true...



But as far as tamers go - they are most definately the easiest of all templates to hunt with when fighting in low-spawn areas. Most of the low-spawn areas are the best places to make gold/items/etc. That is the main reason why they are hated - they have it easy when it comes to making gold.
The other reason is that most tamers are flat out jerks, and it's often much easier to notice a jerk tamer than it is to notice a jerk dexer/mage/etc.


Please note that easy does not mean fast. Please not that hunting has absolutely nothing to do with gaining the skill in the first place.

As you know, Sahra, I've been a frequenter of the Staff Forums... and there were very few I'd call pond scum there... of course I've never visited all the shard forums.. so I could be missing a few. But.. most of the Stratics Staff stays professional. Can't believe I just said all that after getting my "Sorry, but no, we don't want you back" message this morning from Crazy Joe. :embarasse

Well... I guess me implying that most are pond scum is a bit harsh...
But I've had terrible experiences with most of the other staffers I've interacted with. Only a handful of them would I say are good people.

Well... I've said it in the past and it still holds true... they need to go through their Mod list and toss out several of the bad apples in my opinion. Not picking on any particular mod, but I've seen some break RoC regularly, play favorites with their ingame friends, troll the players in their own forum, etc. Pretty sad.. kind of like if the policemen around the country started beating on innocent citizens.. there's no where to turn.
