This is so frustrating...

So I have been back in UO for about a week now. I've been enjoying myself very much.

A few moments ago I decide to do some dungeon crawling. I'm in Hythloth at the moment.

So I'm in Hythloth. I die. No big deal. I don't really care.

I run back to the entrance to try to get outside and find a wandering healer. However, I CAN'T get outside. I try to run up the stairs, and it's impossible run up them. I'm stuck on the stairs. I can't leave the f'n dungeon.

My god, I'm frustrated with this game. Honestly, I wouldn't care if I lost my items on my own accord. However, I lose my items because of some stupid bug in the game where I can't even LEAVE the dungeon to go ressurect myself.

I mean, this dungeon is like 10 years old. You'd think by now the damn bugs would be worked out!

Arghhhhh. I've spent hours and hours acquiring this gear. If I lose the gear I'd prefer that it's my own fault, not the fault of a stupid dungeon. I'm so frustrated.

I'm fairly sure that if you ask someone that plays on the same shard as you, on Uoforums, they'd give you 50k or so to get you started. I know Arjuna helps a lot of new players.
Secondly all you needed to do was to tab in or out to allow you up the stairs. Ghosts can only go up stairs in war mode for some reason, but some stairs ghosts can only go up in peace mode. Wierd I know, but thats life.

No, this did not work.

The stairs were straight up bugged. It was impossible to go up them.

Using the I'm stuck feature in the Help menu would have taken you to a city to rez then you could have recalled back and retrieved your gear in time before decay happend. I know this doesn't solve the bug but it is a work around. If you are Pac I would be happy to help you with some insurance money.

You should insure your most cherished items on your char so you dont loose them. That is what I do, I always insure the items that I would rather not loose.
My guild leader told me once that money is easy to get but items are not especialy really good weapons or gear.

This happened to me too. The stairs are defiantly bugged...I even paged a gm and they moved me without speaking, but next time I went back in it just happened again.

So now I just don't go there anymore!

Another fine example of a bug that never got fixed!
