Snake skins

Ok, so there are 17 different snakeskin hues (plus the unhued gold hue), that would make 17 different boots.

Skins

However, in the original snakeskin "pool" of colours, one hue was absent because it was the same hue as the oak colour. This removal was overlooked from the colours that could be applied to the boots so there are 18 different boot colours total.

And so here are all 18 of the colours

Fairly dark, so here is it enlarged

The oaks may be able to be tokuno dyed - I dont want to try, can anyone confirm this or deny it?

If anyone has a load they want told apart, just post the image in .png format or .bmp format (so that there is no colour deformation from the compression).

If anyone is interested, I also have the tribal mask and betrayer book hue sets as well as er basically anything with multiple hues

Cool, thanks for posting this, Trev. I've been curious about the colors since I was not playing around the time of the Ophidian event. I like the darker green tones you have there.

I sorted the 140/115/74 hue in the red hued and the 115/82/57 in the brown line (I sampled the bottom most right pixel of each) or in other words, the darkest in your red set was added to the gold/brown set for me hehe. 17 total, as you said, +1 for new gold hue, 18 in total.

I did them in the orders they are in because of what they are in the UO hue files - there was one hue missed from the original snake skin colours, because it was oak, so I *think* there may actually be 18 boots

Am I right in presuming that the boots can't be dyed? Haven't started turning in my wee pile of cra...stuff yet ;)

i just had trouble with those two darkest ones matching up to either set, from looking at them straight on ;P.

of course, as you can tell from my lines being fairly not straight, perhaps my eyes aren't the best anyhow!

I tried to dye mine with tok dye and got a message saying they couldnt be dyed.. I was about to use a CBD on them though
