Rubberbanding on staircases?

Why are we suddenly rubberbanding against the side of every set of stairs in the game? Gods this is annoying while trying to run through my tower.

I just started noticing this the last day or so. Have you turned in a bug report at Stratics?

I'm banned from the Stratics forums, no.
And the previous recent mechanics goof up I reported..no longer being able to raise items up & out of a locked down container..turned out to be a "fix" for duping.

I'm seeing these bandaids begin to appear all of a sudden and I guess it'll continue for the 2D client. People have been able to reach the rooftops of keeps for 9 years, yet we get a ladder as a gift which then doesn't work which then recieves a "fix" which then goofs up everything else.

Supposedly lamp posts can't be raised all of a sudden, either.

it's not only stairs put the sides of plots as well

I am experiencing this sense I do not got stairs... So are my pets they get caught on it and I have to back out and "swing wide" like a simi truck does just to get them indoors hehe

The devs are aware of the problem, and are working to correct it. It is related to the new 9th Anniv. ladders for accessing castle and keep roofs.

It was a result to the fix of the ladder bug that was allowing people access to areas they shouldn't have access to. Needless to say, I've gotten killed a couple times due to this "bug" and it has now gotten quite annoying.

Man, I am glad I'm not the only one noticing this then. I was beginning to think my house was messed up or something...

It's annoying, but it's better than having the ladder break-in exploit active. I appreciate the devs putting in a quick fix on that, even if it wasn't a perfectly glitch-free one. Hopefully, it will be resolved soon.

I've died in Felucca to it twice now.

Didn't a previous Dev, about a year or year & a half ago, mention on Stratics that they were trying to fix the rubberbanding on front steps of private homes? That never materialized, unfortunately. If they fix the new rubberbanding problems but leave that it'll be even more unfortunate.
