A robe I am looking for

What is the name of that robe that looks like a death robe graphic... I see people with them but I always forget to check what the name of it is... sense I got a stupid looking helm on but helps alot I like to have that to cover it up =P hehe

There's actually two different shrouds, the Hooded Shroud of Shadows and Hooded Shroud of Umbra.

These are the most duped items in UO right now, so if you see one in a horrible neon shade, it would be best to not buy it and end up with it disappearing or worse when the devs finally reveal their fix for duping.

Yeah that made me think when I seen a person with vendors standing around ALL around in that robe and then was selling it for 2 million per robe... if they are THAT easy for her to locate... I doubt it be 2 million so makes me wonder if it was duped... even if I had the money to buy it... I am defintally going to hold off though be neat to have... where does it drop just curious so maybe if I get lucky to get to that area oneday maybe the NPC will drop me one

They don't drop. The Hooded Shroud of Shadows was the pre-order gift for Age of Shadows on the American Shards and the Hooded Robe of Umbra was the pre-order gift on the Japanese shards. The only way to get them now is to buy them. Unless.........*crosses fingers and hopes* they decided to do another promo with them.

Oh... well shoot if there is dupeds floating about I guess the best way to be safe is not to get one...

I do not want to support any dupers if I can help it! I just hope anything I have bought wasn't a duped item =( But I can not tell especailly sense I am so young to the game still...
