returning to UO

I played UO for several years then moved on. Yesterday I ordered the UO: Kindom reborn CD.. I am anxious to get back online after so many years of being away.. Will this CD inlcude all expansions to date? Is the world lots larger then it was in the beginning? How many still play this game>?? I havent heard much about UO in the past few years. I ran on to a webpage about the Kingdome reborn upgrade and decided to try it again... can somone summarize changes, newbie info, etc??

Welcome to UO Forums and hopefully back to UO maldune77

If you look HERE. You can find a lot of the answers to your questions. Also please remember KR even though it is "out" is still very much a beta project. EA has improved it a lot over the last month. Still needs some work to be on par with the 2D client. So if KR will not load or patch for you don't feel lonely. I would suggest using the 2D client if problems arise. KR will not give you access to all lands. If you decide to stay with it. You could look for the 9th Anniversary and have all the content. Also the 10th Anniversary is coming out soon. Not sure what all will be with it

Make sure you have a high end graphics card, because if you don't it will not work.

Ok I just ordered the 9th anniverayr edition.. I understand it will include all the expansions and updates up to the KR expansion.. Is this correct?? Back in the day I remember lots of people hanign around the Vesper bank on the catskills shard.. Is Vesper still well populated?

Almost. KR is not an expansion, it is just a new client. Otherwise what you understood is correct; the 9th anniv. edition does include all the content up to this date.

As well as the link Vepl kindly posted for you there is also one here based just on KR.

It will give you a chance to see some of the problems,some of the great stuff ,and many screenshots of the new client.

Dont be afraid to ask anything you needd to know,for either client,and have fun all of you .
