Talk about the welcome wagon! I had just barely logged on and walked around for a minute or two before Lady Rascal came galloping up to introduce herself. She did a wonderful job of showing me around and making me feel right at home as I gaped at all the wonders of the island home you all have created. I was also introduced to her "hubby" and a fine fellow, Justice who was kind enough to outfit me in a fine golden suit of armor to start my adventures in.

I was also more than pleased to discover that when I had last restarted my account about 3 years ago it had been on the LA server. I had no recollection of this but the character I made was still there so I have a master miner/smith at my disposal which will come in handy I'm sure. I think I will try my hand at making a fighter type to start off with and go with Fencing. Justice says all his fighters use swordsmanship so I will have to show him that fencing deserves some love too. (I really just want to find a kickass pitchfork and poke holes in people) But I'll be around as often as I can allow myself away from my books. See you all in game!

Well, it was certainly an exciting first day!
Not only did I get added into the guild and get a wonderful tour around the island compound (which I will certainly have to take some time to wander around later) I got a suit of armor and weapon from both Justice AND Thom and a cool dragon mount guy who is trapped in a stable for a week.

I went over to the Britain graveyard and slugged it out with the undead baddies there. I made 20k cash, and got most of my skills on an awesome start. Not bad for an evening I'd say. See ya'll tomorrow!

Sounds like you had an awesome time last evening. Sorry I couldn't stay longer, work as usual has hindered my fun... *giggle*.... I'm sure you will find everyone just as friendly as I, well maybe Maddux and Dip might scare ya, but they mean well... *grins*...
