You might want to consider spellweaving. Word of death rocks. With a level 5 focus i can do approx 400-500 damage to lady mel.

I have no wrestling and I have SW. There is only one catch. You have to have mondains legacy and to get a sw book, you have to do a quest.

Taking any new members? I joined a guild and it was less than advertised. Would like to join one to go participate in the champs or Doom dungeon and some of the other places that are out of reach solo.

I thought about dropping wrestling and adding parrying - just playing around right now - something to lessen the effects of melee monsters. - I've killed about 10 dragons so far solo, lots of drakes, tons of daemons, and I've not found any decent armor on them as loot to build a good 70's resist, or even 50's resist suit yet. But I have wracked up the gold!

Well, I see you have pluged into the LRC suit and its benifits. You need to add the LRC units up OR you can download the Kingdom Reborn client and use it to give you a lot more information. That is a free download by the way but, in my opinion has performance issues that may impact play. I left UO 8 mo's after Trammel went live and came back just under 3 months ago. While it is still UO, graphically, the game is really very different and it is taking a while to get up to speed on the changes. One thing that really triped me up as a Mage/Bard Tamer was the Mage Weapon thing. It simply never occurred to me that there had been a change to the game were your ability to be hit can be mitigated by your proficiency in the weapon skill of the weapon in your hand. Such that if you have NO weapon skills and 120 Magery, the Magery Weapon then uses your Magery Skill as the Weapon Skill regardless of the weapon type. The -29 etc is simply deducted from the magery skill. Hence for a Mage/Tamer Swords of prosperity and a few others tend to be very good weapons as they have -0 Mage Weapon. Ha Ha, I got one of those (from the artifact bag on TC1) and the Greater Dragons I had been dieing to stopped hitting me every single time. What a tremendous boost that was. Now I find out today that the Powders of Fortification (dbl click and target the item) will increase an items Durability by 10 with each powder, up to 255.

Yes, I'm afraid I'm addicted to 100% LRC. The resist levels suck though. My current suit is insured, along with the jewelry. I hated lugging around regs and needing that last heal or cor por only to get "you need more reagents for that spell"... Grrrr.....

Also one thing I recently learned, almost the hard way, is that if you buy an item and it was insured by some one other than you, it may (probably) will NOT be with you when you get rez'd. The Solution is to uninsure every thing then reinsure everything. Also how does one turn formating on, on this board? It seemingly just keeps running every thing together

Is the insured item returned to themif YOU die? I've picked things up off the ground that were [insured] by someone else, but I haven't bought one yet.

No it is simply left on your corpse and with the Vanguard Mob's looting you and poofing well that can be an issue.

If you want to raise your Magic Resist. Take a ride to New Haven and go outside of town and find some Spectral Spellbinder...Target them and have them chase you around...as they cast on you your Magic Resist will raise nicely.

NOTE..do not try this off a boat..thius is considered an exploit , as the spellbinders can't hit you physically. Thus only casting, wither, corpse skin, feeble mind, etc..type spells against you.

Also check in New Haven to see if there are any quests for Resist for resisting spells, befire you get it over 50.
