Rat Event

Has anyone taken part in the rat killing events yet? I guess when you kill the rats that are in the castle they have a chance of have gold, silver, or copper coins that have special names... Some shards have already had their even, im still waiting for the origin event. The coins are kind of cool if you like event items but their really small... the same size as one gold coin silver is silver not like faction silver and copper is like a small cookie.

I went and waited over at Brit Castle last night, but I didn't see any rats other than Sherry, and guys polymorphed into rats. I guess I missed it. I might check the castle again today.

Anyone know if it's a one-time spawn?

Origin already had their rat invasion event.

I will not kill a rat =*( I love them to much... not by choice anyway.. if they attack nothing more I can do but let them be killed but... yeah =/ I am a huge ratty person in RL

Im pretty sure that all shards have had their event now. I missed the Cats one due to work...

The people wandering around as rats were looking for secret pasages, which I hear are much easier to find now...

I participated in Atlantic's event yesterday and acquired about ten of the named coins. But today when I looked in my bank box for them they are all gone. I have no clue what happened to them, other people still have theirs. Only thing I can think of is maybe they spend like a normal gold coin and it was time to take out some pet stall rental fees.

They do spend like normal gold. Do not keep them in backpack or bank.

That would stink if you accidently spent them like normal monies =( I hope you can find them but way you talked about it sounds like they are gone...

That's why I'm glad I never get any event items. I don't miss them since I never had them anyways

man thats too bad that all the events are done and really too bad that your coins got spent or turned into a check.

Yeah I have to say I was disappointed to find out today that the rat invasion last night at a certain time was "the event". I was on UO playing, but never knew the invasion started. I just assumed it wouldn't happen last night. Oh well I guess I need better resources to keep up to date when I'm logged into the game
