Quick DCI Question

Defense Chance Increase is capped at 45%.

Can anyone explain that to me. From what I see it capps at 45, but if you have 50, and add 20, you get 10. That is the most inconclusive thing I've ever seen.

I am as confused as Samhain, So if your cap is 45% then you could get 45% DCI from items and it would take 45% from your intial 50%. So would that give you a total of 72%?

What I think he is saying is you have a 50% chance, assuming you have 120 weapon skill vs your opponents 120, then you take your DCI, as a % of your initial 50%. The 20 was just an example. So if you have 120weap(50%) then add 45%dci....wait, that would mean you would have 140%.......ok, I have confused myself now.

I think Gyvalor is correct take 45% of 50% and add to the inital 50% which is 72.5%

oh wait, I was doing 45/50 which is 90%. Dang I hate numbers sometimes. Yah, 45% of 50, is 22.5%, + 50% = 72.5 nice dci bonus there...

Don't forget your attacker will probably nullify that with 45% HCI.
