Wholeheartedly agree, our EM sucks. I voted yesterday and started to write something but figured I was just being cranky. LOL

I participated in every EM event with our former EM (Stone). Even tho he had a rocky start, you could tell he cared and he learned and made the events fun. Our new guy, well, I just think he hates us.

If your saying the EM took you guys to an ML dungeon and to do it that's sorta unfair to those that don't have ML which I thought the Events were suppose to be a general kind of thing so everyone would be able particiapte (sp)

going to an ML dungeon isn't an "event"....or is that what is considered an event to that EM??

Well, another thing that made it even worse (besides deserting everyone there with no idea what to do) is that he didn't even seem to know that you had to have keys to get over to Paroxymus OR that only a small group could go.

He knew it cost to buy the rope to get in but was completely lost after that.

That last event was what broke it for good for me.

I voted that I don't care about our shard's events. I participated in the shard scam-event that happened on Catskills last summer. It went on for approximately 2 months. We fell for it hook, line and sinker. In the end, after all the work we did, it ended abruptly and without clear credit. I feel it was a scam. I will never participate in another Catskills shard event again.

OUr EM leads you on a wild goose chase for 2 hours for no reward at the end....

We are suppose to get rewards.......*shocked*

I agree with everyone else here from Catskills, our EM just sucks!! Seems to me he just wants to alienate certain people from participating in his events. For example, anyone that reads the Catskills forums on Stratics knows that we have had a player run weekly hunt every Friday night since last May, this is very easy to see as it's also posted on the calendar. So what does our EM do? Starts holding his events on Friday night. Then he decides to take us to an ML dungeon within just a week or 2 of the release, without even thinking that some people have not upgraded to ML. Once in the dungeon, he obviously had no idea that only a small group of people can cross over to kill the peerless boss so to try and "fix" this he instructs everyone to look for keys and then leaves. That's right, he left us there. He said he would come back in an hour, but he didn't. In fact several people had to page a GM to find out where the EM was and if he'd come back at all. When he did come back he made another huge mistake, he then sent out a shard wide message to return to Lord British's castle. Once there he took only those people who had collected the keys back into the dungeon to fight the peerless and he did so without telling the rest of the crowd waiting in the castle courtyard thus abandoning the players once again. That was the last EM event that I attended and I have no plans to attend future events as long as we have to endure EM Gustus on our shard.
