Question about soulstones

Ok hope you all know me by now but im a returning player I quit shortly after AoS. Anyway Im curious about these soulstones and stoning skills. I dont know exactly how they work but I gather friom reading posts you can stone up to 100 skill on a stone and kind of wear it like jewelry giving you 100 of that skill. Now can you do this even though you are 7xgm with no skill points left or do you have to have an extra 100 skill points to equip a soulstone?

You "store" skills on a soulstone, you don't wear it like jewelry. If your at your skill cap, and you want to have/use the skill stored on the stone, you must stone off another skill, or point the skill arrow on a skill down (and lose it permanently) to allow you to move the skill off of the stone on to your character. The stones will store up to 120 skill points.

The soul stone only STORES skills. Keeping it in inventory does not grant you the ability to use that skill. It's only intention is so you do not have to turn skill points down and lose a hard to GM skill.

Ok once you stone a skill it will be gone from the player unless you use the stone to put it back? So if there is a skill I dont want on one char i simply stone it and give it to a char that does need it?

correct...or if you dont want anymore/or need just turn down also if your stone is a fragment it has limited uses. also stones have a 24 hour timer on them. You can put a skill on it then retrieve it to another char (on same acct) but you wont be able to use that stone or any other for 24 hours
