I wasn't suggesting they should upgrade UO to 3D, I was saying they should have made a whole new UO utilising proper 3D techology not this chalk-over old 2D. Whats the point of creating a slightly different client that for most people looks worse and runs worse than the original?

I wish they would make a UO2 but it's been tried twice now and both times EA canceled the project.

Third times a charm?

yes I had alot of problems and had to change the resolution to 600x 800 and can only play in windows mode.... full screen is a disaster.

Also I created all the icons and macros for my mage/necromancer/spellweaver. Took me like 45 mins and then of course the damn thing crashed and wiped everything..... I used to backup my macro list but now the desktop folder for UO no longer seems to have a macro list with characters!

What's the link between 3D and iso viewpoint? The game could be full 3D AND have an iso viewpoint... and it would prolly solve the perf issue because of the use of our video cards
