Where would I find the prisoners to escort? Trying to gain compassion now.

You can find Blue NPCs as quest givers in most of the trammel citys (not sure since I don't travel to Fel but I think Fel is the same). Just mouse over them to see if their title bar has "Quest Giver" on it and then dbl click them to see where they want to be escorted.

As for prisoners I have no clue...maybe Skara Brea?

They can be found in many places in the wilderness. One spawns in the Orc mines, they can be found on Barrier Island (Trinsic), in the woods near Covetous, outside of Dungeon Wrong, at the major crossroads between Britain and Vesper/Minoc, on the road to Yew near the Lich house, the small cave NW of the entrance of Destard, in Ilshenar near the Sacrifice Shrine, in various lizarman/ratman camps in the Lost Lands. In short, anywhere there are dynamic brigand/orc/lizardman/ratman camps in the wilderness.

Aye.. I'd go to the Rat Man area south of Chaos I think.. can't remember the name of the Valley. Anyways.. there's a persistent camp there where a prisoner will respawn as soon as you escort her to safety.

Ok, Level 2 Orc Caves, take a left then the next left when you get down there. they are in the cage on the left. They respawn pretty much instantly, it is where the GODS OF UO do compassion.(Like me).

Don't I feel dumb right now...talking about the prisoners in the Brigand camps too right? There are 2-3 that spawn NE of Vespar close to the tailor shop. At least they do on Pacific. There is a constant camp just NW of the Sacrifice Gate in Ilshenar.

Read the notice boards in the inns and hotels an all the towns, these give locations of prisoners and others that need help or assistance.
All, I think, give compassion.

You also gain Compassion from just escorting. I routinely pick up a person or two a day just near the bank or where ever they 'accost' me. I always gain a little compassion... I think.... 'Your kind deed has been noted.." then after a few times I gain in Compassion. Am I nuts or dreaming it? I shall go escort someone and be certain.

You gain compassion doing 5 escorts a day. I used to do it in haven, but I've been told that prisoners give mor compassion points. Is that true? And no 5 minutes wait in between?

Five a day.. never knew there was a limit.. but then I never tried to do more than a couple a day before I would get involved in something else, hate the wait between escorts.
