Pre UOR shard poll

I have to vote yes, because I play on any shard that I have a good connection to,but only for that reason

Id just like to see them make all craftable weps equal to the damn arties.. or, dumb down the arties so they are equal to craftables.... I like it when i could gather resources and craft my armor and not have to worry about getting my ass owned in PvP.... it fed the cycle.. "oh damn, i lost all my stuff... now i have to craft more.. " it gave my crafter a purpose..

I can't stand filling out bod deeds so i can hope to get a stupid colored hammer so i can hope to make something worth insuring, so i can get on my pvmer and make the money to keep it insured... so i can go out and get owned in PvP...

So, yes, id play anything Pre AoS, and id especially like Pre Ren.. I stared T2A and died far more often, lost far more stuff and enjoy it so, so, so much more.

and I was a charter member (ya we are still around even tho EA refuses to admit we exist)

The only thing remotely interesting in the early days was pvp. And it was not as great as people pretend it was. If you want pvp then spend the time getting it working on Siege Perilous.

The only thing I do miss is being able to cut peoples heads off and carry them with you!

I voted no.

Another shard means more resources diverted from improving the game as a whole. I'd rather more attention be placed on developing a solid game core.

I voted yes, but the options are a bit too black and white. Saying yes doesn't mean I particularly WANT a pre UOR shard at all. But if they came out with one, I'd try it out just out of curiosity. Started playing during LBR myself.

I'm quite fine without any retro shards though. For me the whole UO experience isn't that much like a game, but a little virtual world and virtual life. So for me Europa with all its developements and with the characters I've made there are UO and bouncing across shards or starting again somewhere else just doesn't feel right.

Yeah I mean it really is a murky question...which time period, et cetera. I guess I also partly fear that such a shard would kill population numbers for current shards very quickly, and I wouldn't want to see this happen, especially not to my home shard.

I'll try just about anything once. Hell, I tried dried squid at a Korean bar once...and, I tried some weird looking trash in what was supposed to be soup here in Japan...still don't know what it was. So, why not try a pre AOR shard, I already tried that before

I'm a no, however if they bring out proficiencies in a later publish (41 on hold) then i would pay for a publish 40 shard!

I've never figured out how to be gracefully humble without appearing weak. Nor have I figured out how to be gracefully passionate without appearing arrogant. In the end, I always seem to be arrogant and weak instead of humbly passionate.
