Potion Kegs

How do you make them name the potion inside? Cause some of the kegs I did say greater heal/whatever, others just say orange/yellow liquid. How do I change those that just say the colour?

this might be outdated but I just dug this up on stratics :

Looking at a keg

When empty, single clicking on a potion keg will return the message "a specially lined keg for holding potions".
When filled, single clicking on a potion keg will return:
- "A keg of (color) liquid" for non-owners and anyone else that has not used taste-id on the barrel.
- "A keg of (potion type)" for the owner or those who have used the Taste Id skill on the keg (up to 5 at a time).
A filled keg will also return a message giving a general description of how full it is.
Number of Potions
Description
0
The keg is empty
01-04
The keg is nearly empty
05-19
The keg is not very full
20-29
The keg is about one quarter full
30-39
The keg is about one third full
40-46
The keg is almost half full
47-53
The keg is approximately half full
54-69
The keg is more than half full
70-79
The keg is about three quarters full
80-95
The keg is very full
96-99
The liquid is almost to the top of the keg
100
The keg is completely full

Just take one potion out, put it back in the keg, put picking it up and dropping it onto the keg, it should name itself then.

This was put in to stop scammers from selling kegs, labeling the vendor/bag as containing deadly kegs, then when you bought one and tested it they were only lesser poison.

Ahhh so just take one bottle out and put it back in? I thought about the Taste ID, but didn't really want to have to train it.

Cause with the pots stacking now, we just drag 100 into the keg and we're done.

Yup just take one out and put it back in. You should not need taste id.

Usually I use my alchemist, he knows what it is, and the read that way then.

but any character should be able to do it.

Thanks Warsong! Was worried a bit last night about having to train.

Don't really want to sell potion kegs if it's not properly labeled.

No problem, glad to help! They made that change sometime ago. Just so people could not scam anyone, if they wished to sell kegs. It just good business to "mark" your kegs.
