Can anyone tell me or point me in the direction of where I would find instructions on how to rename pets in KR. The old skool method of dragging the life bar and editing it there seems to not function in KR...

I'm not at home where I can check. I "think" it is in the pet window. The little arrow on the left side of the screen about half way up. I will send Queen Mum a PM. Hopefully she will have time to check it out for you. Also some other posters may give the answer too

Yep, Vepl is right, its the little pet bar ... found on left side of window ... looks like a little arrow ... click on that and it will list the pets following you and you can change the pets name that way

seems to me that they made KR to be the client that no one wants to use, everything is more complicated and its lag harkons back to the day when I would run by the briton bank on my 14.4k modem pre t2a.

Its only 'complicated' cause its its new and people dont like being taken out of their 'comfort zone'.

Once you start playing you'll find everyhting is actually easier than before..its just a new learning curve

UO:KR is actually a client that a lot of people want to use, especially over the old, out dated 2D client and not many people have 14.4k modems these days......

ditto... I've been on UO playing 2D for almost 10 years (didn't like 3D), and once I got used to how to do everything on KR, I've played KR exclusively. I find it to be much more flexible and easier to use than 2D - not to mention, better looking. I don't have lag issues, but I do have a cable internet connection, so that may help.
