Pet Bonding

Is there a known bug for pets bonding? I have had the same horse for two weeks. I've fed him and he still wont bond with me!

get them, feed em, stable them for a week. once the week is up..... take em out of the stable and feed them once more. it "should" bond with u

Yeah, there is. Feeding the pet will reset the bonding timer sometimes if you feed it before the week is up...

This time, keep it in the stables (or at least dont feed it) for 9 days. It should beond then

Did that with a swampy just last week...worked for me.

Yes there is a bug with certain pets bonding if they have already been bonded once. I was given a Fire Steed a while back and after a month it still hadn't bonded. Was too bad too as it was an above average steed and had been trained up some. Had to go out and kill it since the GMs were unable to help me out at the time. I have also had a horse I bought from the stable master that refused to bond as well. The bug was at one time posted on Stratics Forums, but when I went to search for it it is no longer there.

Aye I bought this horse from the stablemaster. Maybe I reset the timer, but I doubt that and I have had the horse for some time now. I will stable it, buy another and try both out next week.

I thought you HAD to feed a pet every day or else he would either leave you or not bond with you??? How can you go 9 days without feeding it (unless it is stabled)?

No you don't have to. I'm sure it helps with keeping your pet happy, especially if you have no Animal Lore & Taming etc.

In Snuggs case, I think the horse knows if it bonds, it will die very horrible deaths because Cabe and Vepl take everyone to dangerous places to watch them die.
