| Guest | Re: Pet bonding your taming has got to be high enough to tame the pet w or w/o Jewelry. It should bond in 7 full days after you fed it the first time, once you you feed it again. It don't mater if you stable it full time or part time, the reason people tell ya to stable it is so you dont take it out to be killed trying it out. |

As for my losing the hiryu, that was stupidity on my part. Oh and I'm no tamer, my pets have been given as gifts from my bf and a guildmate. ![]() ![]() |

| Guest | Re: Pet bonding For both ways the pet must be happy at all times. Before you stable the pet feed it, command it, wait 7 full days before you pull it out and then feed it again once out. It must be 7 full days, no early times, if you put it in Sunday at 2pm, I suggest you wait till 4 pm next Sunday before pulling it out. If you use the ride till bond, then the best rule is feed every 30 minutes of game time [that is time you are playing], if its not happy it will not bond. Be sure to command it after each feeding. |

![]() ![]() | Re: Pet bonding Side note on the balls of summoning... With new rule on how pets that are emtpy (for pack animals) and if you are alive, will now log out with you as if they were stabled. There are many benifits of this. MOST places you can just get your pet out of the stable and log out and back when you get where you are going and your pet apears there. Most new UOML dungeons this seems not to work going in, but I think still works to get them out. [I lost two full giant beetles not knowing about them needing to be empty to log out with you *pouts*] If the pet stays happy, you do not 'need' to keep feeding it. As it has been said a few times though, you do need to feed it to start the timer and give it a command it obeys. |
