My mom plays UO, and she's very uncomfortable with difficult PVM, and she has a very slow reaction time to attacking stuff (probably about 5 or 6 seconds from when the monster is attackable until she can target it).

She wanted to do the Tokuno Treasures hunt, and I knew she needed something easy. So yeah she's a tamer, and yeah she has a cu sidhe creature, but she also needs slow and easy stuff that don't attack her right away and that definitely don't kill her quickly if they do attack her.

The next time you go calling other players you see crap just because you THINK you know them, grow up and shut up.

Not only did I encourage her to do that desert, and told her to go there when I'm not around, but I did take her it to show her where she could fight those beetle things. So shut up. You've just insulted my mom, and I do NOT tolerate that.

p.s. To add my item to this list on this thread, what drives me nuts is bigotted jerks who judge other people's difficulty level when they play.

Arjuna, allow me to take the statement you quoted and expand it to understand the full meaning of what was said.

I went ahead and bolded the most important point of his description. It's important to note this profound difference because it separates those like your mother, who actually play the game, and farmers who aren't really playing the game (thus the semi-AFKness). It would make sense that a tamer who is capable of handling higher level spawn would do just that, because after all, one has a greater chance of getting artifacts from higher level monsters (based on fame, that is). The point is, the reason these particular tamers do it is simply out of laziness, nothing more (which I'm not faulting anyone for, I am the king of laziness). Obviously, this is not the case with your mother.

With that said, may your mother be blessed with many Tokuno artifacts, and may you someday learn to express yourself in a kinder, less provocative manner.
