Paroxysmus Question

I didn't do any peerless stuff on beta..so I have a question for you people who did.

Can pets be used effectively against Paroxysmus? I've been reading on Stratics and I know that mage summons heal him because he eats them or whatever..

but in all the screenshots I never see a pet with the groups. Does he eat pets too? Or are they worth bringing?

No no pets or summons
Pets = Very bad for Paroxy... he has the special one hit kill talent against pets. Then he eats em up (you will get a message about how your pet has fallen to his hunger) to heal himself.

Warriors and mages to cast arch cure is your best bet!

Our guild is doing a hunt this week and a lot of them like to use tamers..so I wanted to make sure.

Use Archers. Lots of them.

*agreed* Archers with Hit lower Defence and high damage increase and tons of swing speed.

Hit and run. Hit him and run off before he can pull you in.

nooooo! Stand on the little tower thing two steps up...you can sorta get him in position right below you and he doesnt move...mwahaha

Hehe yeah. My bf accidentally ran up the steps and Parox followed him, so he got stuck there until he ate him.
