Re: Paper Dolls and Hair

Returned to UO after 3-4 years, decided to try KR. Ergh, agree with other people here - paperdolls AND in-game char figures need a major re-done. They're worse then in 2d, somewhat square and...well, their animation is awful.

Re: Paper Dolls and Hair

I'm sure everybody was constipated in medieval times, right? I mean, how else would you explain the paperdoll stance?

Re: Paper Dolls and Hair

Another thorn in my side... my lovely ladies are all ugly now and their armors are ugly and their house is ugly.... and their rides are ugly... I take one look at them and want to cry.

Re: Paper Dolls and Hair

Have to agree, the new paperdolls look absolutely ridiculous. The stance is awkward to say the least and the faces just do not look right. I think something like an upright stance turned slightly to the side would look MUCH better.

Re: Paper Dolls and Hair

For a decent stance, look at Star War Knights of the Old Republic. Its awesome how their karma changes their stance too!

Re: Paper Dolls and Hair

Heres the Star Wars KotOR:II paperdoll...obviously its not completely compatible with UO.

http://www.cdrinfo.com/Sections/Arti...cter_large.jpg
That guy is a light side Jedi...(high karma)

http://www.cdrinfo.com/Sections/Arti...reia_large.jpg

This one is neither dark nor light (average karma)

I couldnt find a Dark side one, but the background is Red, and they have a posture thats similar to the current character pose on UOKR.

(I posted this in the other thread by accident!! oopsy)
