I then take my magery up to 100, which I find really helpfull. I love that template, probably the only template I've come up with myself that really works. If someone helps me kill the satyres I can solo a Lady Melisade with that template. I use Word of Death to give monsters the final blow, works brilliantly for me. That template requires a lot of work. But the rewards are excellent. The other taming template that works well would be: 110 Animal Taming 110 Animal Lore 105 Vetenary 110 Archery 85 Chivalry 100 Meditation 100 Tactics Again use taming jewels to bump your skill, I have some nice ones with +15 taming and hit chance increase. You've notice that all the templates don't have skill above 110, these scrolls typically fetch 1-5k, so they are easily acheivable. I actually would sugest actually making a tamer first, working your taming and other skills will help you to learn the game well. Jumping in with a warrior means that you have to fight aggressive monsters to train, but my last template allows you to train against non agressive monsters. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: paladin And my tip for taming would be, when you get to 85, get someone to take you to the savage village outside of Compassion. You'll need Savage Kin Paint, but you can train from early 80's all the way to GM on the Ridgebacks. They spawn in the south corner. Its a quiet spot, with no aggressors. There are always 2 ridgebacks there. When you sucessfully tame one, let it be attacked by the Savages, they'll kill it. Go and tame another one. You can't gain by taming the same animal twice. You have a 100% sucess rate at taming the same animal a second time. This is why its best to either rename the animal and release it, or tell it to attack a creature that will kill it. In the savage village, the savages will automatically attack the ridgeback once its tamed. Note - do not attack the savages yourself, your Kin Paint will come off and then all the savages will attack you. |
