Aye Ally ... folks please send in any information you have to the bug team ... something weird is definitely going on if it has expanded to ingots ... might not be a game stopper or a 'major' bug but be best not to let it get that way either and lets hope its no 'big deal' and just a nice 'easter egg' find

The spellweaving quest chain asks for cotton, I think. I haven't done it in a long time.

Yes, it is the quest that asks for cotton.

I was messing around with it and I was able to lock down the orange cotton but I was unable to make thread out of it. I dunno how they are doing it.

I did send in a bug report on the locking down bit though.

I was told how it works, I submitted it as a bug and PM'd Jeremy to see if its considered legal like the white cloth. I won't hint or reveal any details however, unless Jeremy responds back that it is legal to produce.

Well I know this color of cloth is not able to be obtained through normal means this is a solid fact and another solid fact is that the hue index number is 125X its one of the AOS orange colors and is NOT blaze or fire color. if you make a robe from the cloth and compare it to several AOS orange robes you will find an exact match for it.

Now I did try to spin some quest cotton on a wheel but that cannot be done because you cannot double click toggled quest items to use them so my guess is that someone found some other bug either involving weight or toggled thread but I would be willing to bet this required a bug with weight and separating toggled quest items some how.

At any rate this is bugged cloth we are dealing with and I would not recommend spending cash to obtain it because you may lose like many did during the shroud deal.

I'd have to actually talk to CS to figure out the deal with this specific item, but usually stuff like this is considered "not supported" - meaning, we won't ban you for it, but it may disappear/get color-changed/etc and we won't replace it.

yep it is and explot and heard how to do it and not just orange like when you have quest item and target it as blazed color and makes that orange
