Only Human characters?

Im new to the game in general and i see in the Kingdom Reborn client that i can only select male/female human, there are left/right arrows seemingly denoting more races... but they dont appear to work.

Does KR Beta only have human characters at the moment?

I don't know, but it wouldn't suprise me.

There are tons of things not yet in game for KR, don't be suprised by anything missing, but also, don't hesitate to send a quick note through the in-game bug report either.

I am an elf in game and I look really similar to humans, Im not even sure if theres a difference.

Was your character already created Valas?

I think brandysnap was trying to create a character and only had the option for Human.

Yes, just to clarify.. im referring to the character creation screen. Which doesnt have any race options available except Human Male or Female.

I created an elf just yesterday on TC4, so it IS working. And I think it is pretty straigt-forward, cause I cant remember it being a pain to choose your race

But I'll report on that again

it is very easy. When you click create, on the next screen you can choose between Human and Elf. There's a fild right on top of the window

I made a new char in test and had no problems making an elf. What version are you running? Will UO:KR even run with an older version? Maybe the game you have is pre-elf?

Im on the Europa shard.

Ive got 8th age registered with the account, so i should have everything?

I know there are options to select a different race... but clicking the arrows does nothing at all for me.

at this time the character selection deal is like many other things in KR... still needing to be added/worked on

KR is the vanguard in the software industry.. tis the first open alpha ever done....

Seriously.. they are not going to add the gars and let the elven character disappear no matter how many claim elves are so UN-Ulitma..
